Manama – Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue:
Last Saturday evening, the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue held its annual Ramadan Ghabga, attended by its members as well as a number of friends, supporters, and sponsors. The event began with a welcoming speech by the Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Suhail bin Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, followed by a presentation of the Foundation’s key achievements over the past year delivered by the Executive Director, Mr. Abbas Hamadeh.
The program continued with a special segment dedicated to women titled “Women… The Jewel of the Foundation,” presented by Sara Al-Subaie in celebration of International Women’s Day. Gifts were distributed to all participants during this segment. This was followed by an entertaining quiz and prize session hosted by Foundation member Mr. Methaq Rouhani. The evening concluded with a group photo of all attendees, before everyone proceeded to enjoy the Ramadan Ghabga meal.
The event also featured the honoring of several supporting and sponsoring organizations, including Al-Bilad Newspaper, Al-Ayam Newspaper, the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence, the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, Batelco Family Stability Center, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
In addition, special recognitions were presented to His Excellency MP Mahmoud Fardan, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Hamadeh, Dr. Ahlam Al-Qasimi, and the esteemed artist Mohammed Yaseen, in appreciation of their continuous support for the Foundation.
The honoring segment concluded with the recognition of a group of distinguished Foundation members for their outstanding contributions, including: Amina Al-Jamri, Dr. Ema Salari, Sara Al-Subaie, Salim Boudabbous, Dr. Sharaf Al-Muzail, Essam Al-Khayyat, Faiza Al-Fersani, Kamel Al-Jamri, Methaq Rouhani, and Wafaa Faisal.
